Oliver Walton
Via Instrumental Casting, Oliver appears as a cellist in a Disney+ Original with Billie Eilish and the LA Phil, called Happier than Ever; A Love Letter to LA. Via Instrumental Casting, he also appears as a cellist on TV shows Black Monday and Better Things and in national commercials for iPhone X, Humira, United Airlines, Bayer Migraine, Samsung and GMC. He appears as a tuba player in a Liberty Mutual commercial and as a sousaphone player in a Progressive commercial. Via Instrumental Casting, Oliver appears as a clarinetist in a Jonas Brothers music video, on HBO's Perry Mason (2020) and TV shows Curb Your Enthusiasm and Platform. Oliver as a vocalist in Mark Wahlberg's The Gambler. Oliver appears as a cellist in music videos for Hilary Roberts 'Fight to the Other Side' and Aloe Blacc's 'Love is the Answer' which is also featured in a Lincoln car commercial. Additionally, via Instrumental Casting, Oliver played an Austrian Airlines special promo event in Hollywood, performed with an orchestra to a sold out crowd at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood with Persian Artist Shahkar and guest artist Andrea Bocelli and improvised a solo cello soundtrack for the feature film Something About Her.
Oliver has also performed with LA Curbside Entertainment.
Oliver has played with the Golden State Pops Orchestra, Torrance Symphony, West LA Symphony, Downey Symphony, Sounds of Cypress Orchestra, Filipino American Symphony Orchestra and the South Florida Symphony Orchestra. He has done movie soundtrack recordings and plays solo cello in a YouTube video with over 200,000 hits of a cover of Miley Cyrus' Wrecking Ball, which he recorded with colleague Jennifer Foster.
Oliver has played solo and/or principal cello for numerous shows and classical concert series and has performed for weddings, cocktail hours, receptions, numerous orchestral concerts and other events, since 2004. Oliver studied with Manon Robertshaw, Stephen Green and most recently, with Dennis Karmazyan.
